Thermal boxes 6-layer — for longer transports and strict cold chain

The 6-layer thermal box has 2 extra insulation layers compared to the standard 4-layer variant. Suitable for longer transports (24-48 hours) and strictly controlled cold chain such as pharma distribution and international air freight.

When 6-layer?

For international food shipments, pharma distribution, or when you want extra certainty for temperature control during peak transport hours. Slightly more expensive than 4-layer, but significantly better insulation performance.

Combining with PCM for pharma

For a strict temperature range (2-8°C vaccines), combine the 6-layer box with PCM packs instead of standard gel packs. This gives the certainty of a specific temperature range for 48-72 hours.

How long does a 6-layer box keep products at temperature?
With sufficient gel packs, typically 24–48 hours. With PCM packs, even 48–72 hours within a specific range.
Suitable for pharma?
Yes, in combination with PCM packs for 2–8°C or 15–25°C. Validation reports for your QA team are available on request.
How much more expensive than 4-layer?
Approximately 30–40% more expensive per box, but an essential investment for pharma and international shipments. Request a quote for your situation.
Which sizes?
Standard sizes from 400x300x200 mm to 600x400x400 mm. Custom sizes available for specific pharmaceutical applications.
