Stretch film for pallets and bundling

Stretch film (also called stretch wrap) is indispensable for stabilising pallets and bundling shipments. At Cooled Solutions you'll find both manual and machine rolls, transparent and black, in various thicknesses.

Manual or machine roll?

For occasional use and smaller volumes: manual rolls (250-450mm). For large volumes and automation: machine rolls (500mm+). The right thickness depends on your load — heavier loads require thicker film.

In combination with thermal covers

Stretch film is often used to secure thermal covers on pallets for air freight and road transport — an efficient combination for cold-chain pallets.

Frequently asked questions

What thickness do I need?
For light loads 15–17 microns, for standard pallets 20–23 microns, for heavy/sharp loads 30+ microns. Call us if you are unsure.
Transparent or black?
Transparent for visibility of the contents. Black for protection against UV exposure (longer outdoor storage) or when the contents should not be visible.
Manual or machine?
Manual for <50 pallets per day. Machine wrapping for higher volumes — it quickly pays for itself through film savings.
