Insulated base sheet for extra protection

An insulated base sheet offers extra protection for temperature-sensitive products during transport. It is placed at the bottom of the pallet or in the box and serves as an insulating barrier between the product and the base — preventing heat transfer through the underside of the packaging.

Why a base sheet?

The base is often a weakened point in insulation. The floor of the means of transport, contact with other pallets, or storage on a hot surface — all sources of temperature loss. A base sheet seals this 'thermal bridge' and extends the effective cooling time.

Combination with thermal cover

Insulated base sheet + thermal cover together form a complete passive insulation cocoon around the pallet. We also supply combi-sets for EURO and block pallets.

Frequently asked questions

Do I really need a bottom sheet?
For air cargo and strictly controlled cold chain, yes — it seals off the weakest point in the insulation. For shorter road transports, it can be omitted if the base is not a heat source.
What sizes are available?
Standard EURO pallet (120×80) and block pallet (120×100). Custom solutions available for roll containers and other dimensions.
Combine with a thermal pallet cover?
Yes, a base sheet + thermal pallet cover creates a complete insulation cocoon. We also offer discounted combination sets.
Is it reusable?
Yes, provided they are undamaged and clean. Their service life is comparable to thermal pallet covers.
