Are the cold chain packaging products food-safe?
Yes. Our cold chain packaging is suitable for (in)direct contact with food and complies with European regulations for materials that come into contact with food. This allows you to ship meat, fish, dairy products, and prepared meals hygienically and safely.
How long will my product stay chilled during transport?
In practice, our EPS boxes with gel packs keep fresh products at the required temperature for 24 to 48 hours, even in warm weather. The exact duration depends on the box, the number of gel packs, and the ambient temperature. We would be happy to calculate a test setup for your product.
Which coolants should I use for chilled versus frozen goods?
For chilled products (0–7 °C) such as meat, fish, and dairy, you typically use standard gel packs or ice packs. For frozen products, choose ice packs that have been frozen at a lower temperature. We will be happy to advise you on the right combination for each product type.
Can I order the cold chain packaging in small and large quantities?
Absolutely. You can order both small quantities and full pallets. Thanks to our volume discounts, the price per unit decreases as you order more. Orders placed before 2:00 PM are shipped the same business day.
Are there sustainable, recyclable cold chain packaging options?
Yes. In addition to classic EPS boxes, we supply recyclable paper-based honeycomb cooler boxes. They offer comparable insulation and suit brands that want to make their packaging more sustainable without compromising on freshness.
