EPS Thin Wall — cost-effective for shorter transports

EPS boxes with a thin wall (typically 20-30mm) are the most cost-effective choice for shorter transports, fresh e-commerce shipments and shipments where no extreme insulation is needed. Lighter, cheaper and with the same basic insulation performance as thicker variants over a short duration.

When thin wall?

For next-day delivery within the Netherlands or Benelux, smaller meal boxes, short fish shipments, and with a less strict temperature range. Combine with sufficient gel packs or ice packs.

Frequently asked questions

How long does thin wall maintain temperature?
Typically 12–24 hours with sufficient gel packs. For longer transports, use the thick-wall version.
How much is the difference?
Thin wall 20–30% cheaper than thick wall. For large-volume purchases with tiered pricing, a significant cost difference.
With drainage holes?
Available in both versions — with drainage holes for fish, without for meat/pharma.
