A reusable thermal pallet cover replaces single-use shrink film in temperature-sensitive transport. You use the same cover journey after journey. Please note: this is not a plastic pallet cover against rain or dust, but an insulating cover against temperature.
Difference from shrink film
Shrink film holds a pallet together, but does not insulate and does not reflect heat. For cargo that has to stay at temperature, film adds nothing. A thermal cover does both: it covers and keeps the cold.
Cost calculation
For single use, film looks cheaper. As soon as you use the same cover dozens of times, that calculation flips. Work from the number of journeys per year and the cost per pallet, not the purchase price alone.
When single-use still fits
If the shipment goes to a receiver who does not return the cover, the advantage disappears. On fixed routes or with returning packaging, reusable is almost always the cheapest choice.
