Thermal boxes 4-layer — efficient solution for standard transport

The 4-layer thermal box combines a cardboard outer box with a 4-layer insulated bag. Suitable for chilled transport up to 24 hours. The inner lining consists of bubble wrap with a laminated layer of metalized PET coating — an efficient combination that keeps products at temperature.

Who is 4-layer suitable for?

Fresh e-commerce (meal kits, cheese, deli meats), short food shipments, standard chilled transport within the Netherlands and Benelux. For longer transports or strict cold chain, choose the 6-layer variant.

Foldable = pallet-efficient

The box and insulated bag are delivered unfolded. This means up to 5x as many thermal boxes fit on a pallet compared to folded EPS — a major advantage in transport and storage.

How long does a 4-layer box keep products at the right temperature?
With sufficient gel packs or ice packs, typically 24 hours; suitable for next-day delivery within the Netherlands and the Benelux.
Difference compared to 6-layer?
6-ply has 2 additional insulation layers for longer shipments (24–48 hours) and a strict cold chain. 4-ply is the most cost-effective option for standard transport.
Recyclable?
Cardboard with waste paper, insulated liner with plastic waste. Easy for the end user to separate.
