The insulated box (L) is the corrugated cardboard outer box. The insulating performance comes from the TempGuard insulation sheets (L), which you order separately and place inside the box. Together they form a cool box; on its own, the box is used as a standard shipping box. Why choose a cardboard insulated box with separate sheets?

This system is designed for companies that want to save storage space and package sustainably. The box is supplied flat and the sheets are stored flat — you only add the insulation when packing. This significantly reduces storage space and transport volume compared with pre-formed EPS boxes. After use, both the box and the sheets can simply go with the paper recycling, with no separate collection point required. The insulation value of the combination is comparable to EPS (polystyrene foam/Styrofoam).

How to assemble a complete cool box

1. Set up the box and insert two TempGuard insulation sheets (L), so that the base and sides are lined.
2. Place your product inside and add gel packs — gel packs on top of the product, because cold air sinks.
3. Fold the sheets closed and seal the box. Pack as tightly as possible: less empty space means a more stable temperature.

What is the L size suitable for?

The spacious L size is intended for larger or heavier shipments: larger meat and fish consignments, full meal boxes, multiple products at once, dairy products or pharmaceutical shipments with greater volume. With the right gel packs, the contents remain at the required temperature for up to 48 hours, from chilled (2–8 °C) to frozen — without a refrigerated vehicle.
