What is the 10-liter EPS box used for?
The product description names three uses. In pharmaceutical logistics you ship vaccines, medicines and other temperature-sensitive products in it. In the food industry it is about fresh products such as meat, fish, vegetables, dairy, fresh meals and delicatessen. And as cold transport it suits smaller shipments where reliable insulation matters.
In practice this is the size for online shop orders and daily fresh deliveries: a meal kit, two to three kilos of fish or meat, a dairy parcel or a chilled pharma shipment. According to the product description, this box keeps a chilled order at temperature for 24 to 48 hours, depending on the number of cooling elements you add. That is not a fixed guarantee. The actual duration depends on your product, the outside temperature and the route.

Three boxes share the same footprint of 400 x 300 mm. They differ in height and wall thickness, and so in what fits inside and how many go on a pallet.

The 10-liter box leaves 140 mm of height, the 12-liter box 125 mm and the 17.5-liter box 230 mm. The 12-liter box has the widest inner floor and the 17.5-liter box the most height.
The 10-liter box has the same thick wall as the 17.5-liter box, but is 10 cm lower. The 12-liter box is lower and has a thinner wall of 20 mm, with a roomier inner size of 365 x 260 mm. Is a styrofoam cooler of 10 liters the same as a Tempex box?
Yes. Styrofoam, Tempex and EPS are other names for expanded polystyrene.
How many fit on a pallet?
A full pallet of the 10-liter EPS box holds 100 pcs. For smaller quantities you order the same box per piece with a volume discount.
Is the lid included?
Yes, the box comes with a matching lid. A separate lid is only available on request.
