Eco Coolbox — environmentally friendly insulation box

The Eco Coolbox is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional EPS insulated boxes. Made of pressed cardboard fibres with excellent insulation properties — a European patent has been obtained for the use of these cardboard fibres as insulation material.

Technical specifications

Moisture regulation: minimum 8.8%. Thermal conductivity coefficient: λ = 0.036 W/(m·K). Specific heat: 2020 J/kg. Combined with dry ice, at least 24 hours of transport time can be bridged.

Ideal for sustainable e-commerce

For companies that want to reduce their ecological footprint, the Eco Coolbox offers the same insulation performance as EPS, but fully recyclable with paper. Perfect for meal kits, fresh suppliers and e-commerce shops that promote sustainability.

Suitable for frozen products

Thanks to the high insulation performance, the Eco Coolbox, combined with dry ice or sufficient ice packs, is suitable for transporting frozen products for at least 24 hours.

Is the Eco Coolbox fully recyclable?
Yes, the Eco Coolbox is made from compressed cardboard fibers and is fully recyclable with waste paper. No separation of materials is required.
How long does it keep products at the right temperature?
Combined with sufficient ice packs or dry ice, at least 24 hours. For longer shipments, use multiple gel packs or a combination with other insulation.
Is the insulation performance comparable to EPS?
Yes, the Eco Coolbox has a thermal conductivity coefficient of λ = 0.036 W/(m·K), comparable to thin EPS. For extreme cold chain applications, we recommend thicker EPS or 6-layer insulated liners.
Suitable for frozen products?
Yes, in combination with dry ice, a transport time of at least 24 hours can certainly be covered for frozen products.
What sizes are available?
Standard sizes from 315x235x265 mm to 600x400x375 mm are in stock. Custom sizes are available for larger order volumes.
